Knowing how difficult it could be sometimes to get children to brush their teeth, Pauline had to come up with a way to effectively communicate with children through a story. "It's okay to scare children a little", stated Pauline as she crafted a tale of what many children (AND ADULTS) go through in anticipation of a visit to the dentist. Serving as the Office Manager of her husband's office, she found a way to rise above her own health challenge and help parents and children overcome their own fears by starting good tooth-brushing habits early in life.

What Our Readers Say

I love the story of Pinky & Twinky because it educates both children and adults in an entertaining tale of the importance of brushing their teeth and how to do it. Educating children earlier on this issue will create for them a lifetime of good habits and health.

I started reading the book to my five-year-old daughter…she loves the story and we read one to two pages a night. My wife and I as well love the story of the tooth fairy twins – Pinky & Twinky. I decided that after not going to the dentist for over five years that I would schedule an appointment. I realized that by not going to the dentist I was setting a bad example for my daughter.
